STIGE
Introduction
Stige (ladder in Norwegian) is a game played by two or more players or teams. Each player has three Bolle’s (two wooden balls connected to each other by rope) with the objective of wrapping these Bolle’s around the three rungs of the Stige ladder. Each rung scores different points. The winner is the first person/team to 21 points.
Although it sounds very easy, it does require a high level of eye to hand co-ordination though a little but of luck on your side will go along way.
The Vikings played a similar game on their Viking longboats that involved throwing lengths of rope with the aim of wrapping them around the oars.
Ideal for groups of 2 to 10 participants. Very simple to learn and great fun for all ages.
