THE VIKING GAMES
Home to a fantastic range of viking inspired group activities. Take part in one or all of our six traditional nordic games. Try your hand at Axe Throwing, Archery, Bullrings, Kubb, Molkky or Stige. Come and test your ability and agility to see whether you have what it takes to become a true Viking warrior.
The Viking Games is open and good to go.
All necessary government guidelines in place.
All our sessions are outdoor, run as private groups with social distancing applied through-out. All equipment is disinfected before and after use. Hand sanitisers available to use at every activity.
Synonymous with the Vikings, axe throwing combines skill and accuracy.
The axe was a popular Viking weapon which were typically lightweight and well balanced for ease of throwing.
This ancient sport dates back over 20,000 years. Take aim and fire.
Archery played a major role in both hunting and warfare of the Vikings. It’s one of the oldest skills in the history book.
Played by Icelandic farmers for centuries. Throw the wooden rings onto the Bull’s horns.
Originating in Iceland, Bullrings is a throwing game requiring skill and precision.
Kubb is one of the fastest growing team sports around the world.
Kubb, meaning bowler in Swedish, is played with wooden blocks and is great fun. Requires precision and tactical gameplay .
Molkky is a highly addictive game, originating in Finland, it is similar to skittles but with an exciting twist.
In Molkky players take it in turns to knock down the pins by throwing the wooden block. Each throw gets harder as the pins begin to spread out.
Stige is a fun and simple game from Norway that is always an instant hit.
Players are given two wooden balls connected together by rope, with the aim of throwing the balls in just the right way that they wrap around the Stige (ladder in Norwegian).
Although not a traditional Viking game, we also run paintballing on site.
Three zones, eight games and unlimited enjoyment. Paintballing is a great adrenaline activity.
LASER CLAY SHOOTING
Again not a Viking game but it’s available to play on site.
Similar to clay pigeon shooting but uses modified shotguns that fire lasers instead of live ammunition, thus eliminating any dangers. It’s always a massive ‘hit’ with our customers.

Our awesome reviews
Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our guests say:
Absolutely fantastic day out. Both Kevin and Clare are very welcoming and great fun which makes the whole experience even better. This was my second visit to the venue. And will definitely be going back again. Perfect for families and groups. Highly recommended.
Had a lot of fun today doing Archery and Axe throwing, plus got to have a go with some throwing knives. Will definitely be visiting again and recommend people give this a go!
I booked this as a date day for my husband and I. It was a great experience and something a little different. We were given guidance for each activity and we enjoyed the competition between us! Social distancing was well organised and we were able to hand sanitise regularly and also had our own equipment to handle. We left feeling like true Vikings 💪🏼🪓🏹🗡 thank you for a fantastic day!
