Introduction
Experience outdoor axe throwing at The Viking Games, set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Whether you’re completely new to axe throwing or have thrown before, our friendly instructors will teach you the technique before putting your skills to the test.
After a few practice throws, the competition begins. Take aim at the targets, score points for your accuracy and see who can hit the bullseye.
Forget dark indoor lanes and city-centre venues. Here, you can throw axes in the open air. Feel the weight of the axe, take aim and hear that satisfying thud as it hits the wood. Then challenge your friends to see who can rack

No. Our instructors teach you the technique before you start throwing.
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe footwear. As the range is outdoors, dress appropriately for the weather.
Yes. Our axe throwing takes place outdoors at our Herefordshire activity centre.

16 is our maximum number for the hour. If you wanted to bring more then we suggest you booking a second activity. Half the group can does axe throwing whilst the other half does another activity and then swap over.
